Palma de Mallorca, Spain - Day 8

Unfortunately, we didn't get to utilize our time like we would have liked to while visiting Palma. We knew we had limited time and we wanted to a change of pace so we elected to take a tour of the Caves of Hams which are very popular. What we didn't know was that to reach the caves we would have to drive across the entire island. The drive was interesting and beautiful at times between seeing all the palm trees, windmills and billboards of Rafael Nadal. When we reached the caves we were told it usually takes 45 minutes to walk through, but in reality it took 20 minutes tops. The caves themselves are beautiful and are lit up nicely, but with artificial light to make it more of a vibrant experience.

If we had to do it all over again we definitely would check out the city of Palma more like Catedral de Mallorca, Palau de l'Almudaina, Llotja and Consolat de Mar.
